MEGADETH's ELLEFSON Featured On Cover Of BASS PLAYER Magazine

MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson is featured on the cover of the December 2010 issue of Bass Player magazine. The holiday issue is on sale now. MEGADETH will headline six festival shows in New Zealand and Australia during December 10-19 as part of "No Sleep Til", a touring festival that will deliver a mix of the best international and local acts from the legendary to the up-and-comers. MEGADETH's "Rust In Peace Live" CD — which captures the final night of the band's historic month-long "Rust In Peace" 20th anniversary tour — has sold around 12,000 copies in the United States since its September release. SLAYER guitarist Kerry King joined MEGADETH on stage on October 21 at the Gibson Amphitheater to perform MEGADETH's classic "Rattlehead". This marked the first time in 26 years that Kerry played the song with MEGADETH (King took part in MEGADETH's very first shows in February 1984 as the band's second guitarist).
